Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), TEOMAN BARUT ÖZEL SAĞLIK HİZMETLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ – Özel Barut Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği (Barut Oral and Dental Health Polyclinic) (15 Mayıs Mah. Gazi Mustafa Kemal Blv. No:159 Fl:4, 20150 Merkezefendi, Denizli, Türkiye), as data controller, informs you about the personal data processed within the "AI Smile Design" service.
Data processed
- Identity and contact: full name, phone number.
- Visual record: the face photo you take or upload and the smile simulation generated from it. As the photo shows your mouth and teeth, it may qualify as health data (special category personal data).
- Transaction security: IP address, country, browser information, date of request.
Purposes
- Creating and showing you the smile design simulation you requested,
- Having the simulation reviewed by our dentists and contacting you about consultations and appointments,
- Preventing misuse of the service and ensuring information security.
Legal grounds and collection method
Your data is collected electronically through the form and camera/upload area on this page. Identity, contact and security data are processed under KVKK Art. 5/2-c (establishing a contract at your request) and Art. 5/2-f (legitimate interest); your photo is processed on the basis of your explicit consent under Art. 6.
Transfers
To generate the simulation, your photo is transferred to our AI service provider Google LLC (Gemini API; servers located outside Türkiye) under the conditions of KVKK Art. 9. At our request, this content is not stored permanently by Google and is not used to train its models. Your data is also kept on our hosting server in Türkiye and may be shared with competent authorities where legally required. It is not transferred to any other third party.
Retention
Your photos and the simulation are automatically deleted after 30 days. Your name and phone number are kept until your request is concluded and for no longer than 1 year.
Your rights
Under KVKK Art. 11 you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, correction or deletion, learn the recipients, object, and claim compensation. You may withdraw your consent at any time. Send your requests to [email protected] or in writing to the address above.
